Last week I was with my class not at school, but in the town called Veselé nad Lužnicí, which is situated near Třebíč in south Bohemians. We hopefully didn't learn there, but it was supposed to be a „sport course“. Our accommodation were small huts by four people, in which was at night really cold and there wasn't much place. But we didn't go there to bath in a large tub and eat a caviar, did we?
The weather at our arrival was quiet bad, at the afternoon it even rained. But unlike any other men, we went at the evening cycling – despite the killing pace was it a nice evening ride. The next day was partly in an indication of water. Yes, at the afternoon we got inside a small boat, take paddles into our hands and tried to not flip over. But it wasn't me, if I didn't want to experience a full impact of that, what means to be a waterman, so I (and my friend), indeed flipped over and sunk ourselves in an amazingly cold river. What a suprise!
After this event I was really glad we went by bicycle on a day-long trip to Třebíč. It is a nice town, but the fishcould be less expensive, I think. Therefore I ate just a „šopský“ salad, under influence of high prices.
Then there was the boat trip, which was at the beginning quiet adventurous, but after a hour or two it turned into the neverending paddling back and forth. But the nature was beautiful and it certainly has its own glamour to do such a sail.
Another cycle trip lead to Červená Lhota, which is a very nice castle. I did a viewing and it's really a luxorious settlement, go and see on yourselves.
The last day was a sport day, so I played football and then read the book. On Friday we had to move out at 8:30 and the headed to the train station. There we, after about a hour, found out, that there is still a closure, so after a three hours ride in the train, we had to change to a bus.
All in all, it wasn't the best holiday I've ever experienced, but a great week without school with some good sport actions. And I must say, that Jižní Čechny is a very good area for cycling and sometimes I'll certainly go there again.
