The Lawyer’s Envelope - anglická povídka

Aby těch literárních článků nebylo tento týden málo, tak se můžete těšit ještě na něco, tentokrát v angličtině. Autor jsem Já a bylo to jako úkol do školy, tak to berte s rezervou. Ale myslím, že jsem si s tím docela vyhrál (aspoň hodinu jsem u toho strávil určitě), takže zas tak špatné to snad není. Samozřejmě uvítám vaše názory v komentářích, hlavně od profesionálních spisovatelů :). Mou povídku najdete níže.

The Lawyer's Envelope

 „I felt so excited when I looked at the envelope,“ said George and began to tell his life story. His full name is George Field and he is a lawyer from Texas in the USA. In 1999 he had been on holiday in Kenya. He had made a friend there (his name was Sahad) and for many years they had been penfriends. But for almost a year Sahad hadn´t sent a letter and George was worried if his friend was allright.

One day he opened the mailbox and saw an envelope from Kenya. „This must be from Sahad,“ he shouted loudly and dashed into the dining room to open the unforeseen delivery. He took some scissors and tried to cut the paper. But nothing happened. He patiently tried again, but the paper was like steel. He just couldn't get through it. He furiously threw the envelope to the ground and whispered to himself: „What the hell is this?“.

Then, suddenly, the mysterious envelope levitated in the air, started shining yellow and an unknown voice said: „The black hole is slowly approaching. When it is near the Sun, all the matter around will be drawn into the neverending singularity of timespace. We, Aquarians, chose you to be the only one who will survive this disaster. Please donť move, our plane is going to take you away“.

„The rest you know, don't you?“ told me George. „Yes, I do,“ I answered and looked at him and Angelina Jolie – what an amazing couple to establish the another human race!

Možná neznámá slovíčka: unforeseen delivery = neočekávaná zásilka, scissors = nůžky, matter = hmota, neverending singularity of timespace = nekonečná singlularita časoprostoru :), establish=založit.

Tak to je vše. Doufám, že jste pochopili pointu (mluví zástupce mimozemské rasy, která zakládá na planetách vhodných k životu lidskou rasu) a teď prosím hlasujte v anketě:
